kumbh mela 2019|This year’s Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela is observing devotees coming from worldwide to participate in the world of knowledge and eternity. The grandeur event began on January 15, when devotees took their first holy bath, popularly known as ‘Shahi Snan’. Let’s quickly now how weather has been treating the celebrations?

Prayagraj and adjoining areas have been observing dry weather since last 24 hours. Day maximums have shown a slight increase and settled at 26℃ during last 24 hours. On the other hand, night was felt as cold with minimums reported around 7.4℃. So far, dry and cold northwesterly winds have been continuing over the entire region. However, in wake of approaching active Western Disturbance along with its induced Cyclonic Circulation, a change in weather pattern is expected in the days to come. At present, this system is persisting over Pakistan region. 

kumbh mela 2019 :Once it starts moving in east directions, rain and thundershower activities will affect Prayagraj and adjoining region. Thus, January 22 onward, devotees will get the touch of rains and will take holy dips in sacred rivers altogether with mother nature pouring her love from upside.
Further, with the approaching system, wind pattern will also change. As a result, north-westerlies will convert into warm and humid easterlies. As a result, temperatures would increase gradually. Let’s get a clear picture of weather, date and time-wise:-

Next 24 to 36 hours: Sky conditions will be mainly clear.
January 21 night onward: Clouding will increase gradually, in wake of approaching system.
January 22 afternoon onward: Rain and thundershower activities will occur over Prayagraj and adjoining region.
Thereafter during next 3-4 days: Rains will go on and off over the entire region.

Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela 2019 |On this day Lunar Eclipse will occur, however it will not be visible in Asian countries including India. This lunar eclipse will be visible in clear sky conditions over Europe, the United States and parts of Africa. The Lunar Eclipse has been given the name as Super Blood Wolf Moon. As per Indian Standard Time, this will begin at 09:00 am on January 21 and will continue till 11:09 am. Meanwhile, during this eclipse, moon will rise at 05:53 pm on January 21 and will set 07:41 am on January 22 over Prayagraj.kumbh mela 2019 .
